At your last event, were your attendees:
Active?
Engaged?
Satisfied with the amount of information they received?
Hungry for more information?
Happy?
Conferences and events are a place where people receive information that’s relevant to their life and profession – and many times, where they learn new ideas that can help them in their day-to-day lives. Attendees arrive at conferences and events thirsty for knowledge – more knowledge than a speaker or conference program can impart.
One way to help your event attendees walk away from your event happy, engaged, and possessing the information they want and need is to provide a mobile bookstore at your next conference or event.
Our company, Bookworks, has been providing off-site sales and Mobile Bookstores” for events for over 25 years. Our Mobile Bookstores include carefully curated selections of books and gifts specifically tailored to the interests of the attendees. Our selection includes books relevant to the conference or event topic, books by conference speakers, popular bestsellers for attendees to enjoy in their “down time,” and gifts.
Bookworks Mobile Bookstores are turn-key, independently-operated enhancements to your conference programming. All we require to set up a Mobile Bookstore are tables, chairs, and electricity. We can accept many forms of payment for your attendees’ convenience, including cash, checks and all major credit cards. We also offer event pre-sale ordering, and organizational and corporate sales, both pre- and post-event. We can manage many simultaneous events, and travel to any location in the United States.
Bookworks offered bookselling services to 75 off-site conferences and meetings last year. We have worked with Presbyterian Hospitals, Advocacy in Action, the New Mexico Green Chamber of Commerce, and many other organizations. Our mobile bookstores have been at conferences with over 10,000 people present.
We are members of the American Book Association, Mountains and Plains Independent Book Sellers Association, Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau, New Mexico Book Association and the New Mexico Book Coop.
Bookworks is entering its 27th year of operation in 2011.
