For you and the youngest members of your last name, Bookworks has invited poet and hip hop artist Hakim Bellamy to read Black History Month's "greatest hits"...for kids! Children of all ages are cordially invited to join Hakim and the Bookworks team as they decide to make Black history a family affair. On Saturday, Feb. 18th at 10:30 am, a selection of children's books written by African American authors will be read by Bellamy at an hour long event in Albuquerque's largest, locally-owned, independent bookstore.
