Enrique LaMadrid - Juan the Bear and the Water of Life (University of New Mexico Press, $17.95) Dedicated to the New Mexico Acequia Association and to the children of New Mexico, this bilingual tale shares a unique version of a celebrated story that has been told in northern New Mexico for centuries. Professor Enrique Lamadrid is the director of Chicano Hispano Mexicano Studies at the University of New Mexico.
