June 13, 7pm: Bookworks hosts A Word With Writers, a fundraiser for the Albuquerque Public Library Foundation at the historic KiMo Theater. Native New Mexico writers Mira Jacob, author of The Sleepwalker's Guide to Dancing, and Kirstin Valdez Quade, author of Night at the Fiestas, will be in conversation. Front rows are $20 and general admission is $7, with all ticket proceeds going to the library foundation. Tickets are avialable at the KiMo website.
