A nurturing mama bird, a fearful baby, and a nest in a tall, tall tree. Ready, set, soar? Nope!
Sweetly and humorously told, here is a sparkling debut about the joys that come from embracing new experiences, written and illustrated by nationally-syndicated cartoonist Drew Sheneman.

Advance Praise for NOPE by Drew Sheneman:
"Sheneman makes a solid children’s book debut with this memorable parent-child pair—the baby bird’s sense of drama may remind some readers of Mo Willems’s beguilingly histrionic Pigeon—and his crisp digital illustrations and playful sense of composition never miss a comic beat." —Publishers Weekly
"Full of humor and action." —Kirkus Reviews
"This could serve as a broad hint to graduates at least aseffectively as it provides reassurance for young children about to start daycare or preschool." —Booklist
