Amaia has lived the life of Annie-Oakley on the wide-open spaces; howled with the coyotes in the high mountains, harvested marijuana with neighboring hippies, hunted wild game along the Rio Grande, and waved and smiled at the crowd as she rode in the grand entry of a rodeo. Wanting to report the truth and facts, Geoffrey uses this story to portray a factual representation of Vietnam.Geoffrey had a firsthand grasp on the year 1969, as it was the year he graduated from high school, hitched hiked around Europe, returning to his home on Oahu to enjoy surfing, partying, and the life of a hippie at a commune at the nearby neighboring island of Maui. Upon returning from Nam, Geoffrey lived in the Haight-Ashbury district in San Francisco and Big Sur Coast of California until his calling lead him to the land of enchantment-New Mexico. The fun perspective in Geoffrey's writing style is born from his personal experiences and viewpoints.
