Escuela del Sol Junior High Summer Reading List 2019

Escuela del Sol values reading as a crucial tool for life-long learning.  There is enjoyment to be derived from discussion, critical thinking and analyzation of various texts, as well as the opportunity to read a variety of genres and authors.  You should CHOOSE THREE (or more) titles they will read over the summer.  During the first month of school you will compose an essay focusing on a theme from within one of the novels. Books must be FINISHED by the start of the school year. Happy Reading!
