"This is a very good book for 4th-6th grade. I think the action, funny, and sad parts, make it a great book. Then the cubs run away before they get eaten. The cubs run away, to find their dad and mom. On this adventure the cubs meet a lot of friends and some enemies too."--Bryn

"The themes of this book were friendship and sacrifice. The main character risks his life for his family by going to war. He makes friends and does as much as he can to keep them safe. For anyone who likes adventure stories, this is a great book to read. It is fast paced, making it very hard to put down and take a break from. All in all, it was a fantastic story and I really enjoyed reading it."--Bryn

The Unexpected Love Story of Alfred Fiddleduckling is a treasure. It is the type of book that will most likely be kept in the family for generations. It speaks to fear and hope and to the power of love and magnetic pull of family. A storm on the water casts the occupants of a small boat about. It looks bleak until music is heard. This is a delightful book to give to violin players. Timothy Basil Ering is the author and illustrator. Each page is one to ponder. He did the illustrations for the Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo.
"I thought that the book, Class Dismissed, was a very funny story. I liked it when the reader found out that the teacher was Franny Bree. But I did not like the ending very much. I think the author should have added more to the ending. Also, I loved that they found Soda after she got lost. All in all, I thought that this book was funny, well written, and was a good story. I hope the author makes a second book of it."--Gigi G.

While this book was a cliff-hanger I enjoyed it. The world building was quite good and the entire story kept me enthralled the whole time. While dark it had some humor and let you fill in some of the blanks yourself.--Bryn
